Our 2012 Conference and AGM is going to take place on the 28th June in Hope Church Newtown and we really want you all to come.
We are joining forces with the Wales Council for Voluntary Action Network 3 to put together a day that will be exciting and an important step forward to making Citizen Directed Support a reality for the people of Wales.

We are really pleased that Jane Hutt AM, (Minister for Finance & Leader of the House) will be talking about the Welsh Government’s framework for Action on Independent Living.
We will be launching the ‘I Matter – We Matter’ campaign to make the national outcomes framework, which will support the Social Services Bill, created by citizens for citizens.
Citizen led groups including:
- All Wales Peoples First
- Creative Cooperation
- Dewis Centre for Independent Living
- All Wales forum for Parents and Carers
- Age Cymru
In the afternoon we will be joined by cooperative development specialist Mick Taylor and Executive Director of the British Columbia Cooperative Association John Restakis who will help us talk about Cooperative Approaches to Social Services in Wales.
The event will close with members and supporting organisations pledging the action that they will take to make Citizen Directed Support a reality for the people around them.
